内容：命题作文一篇

面试部分

时间：12月2日下午2:15开始

地点：国院一楼东侧会议室

内容：每人5分钟，包括个人陈述和考官提问两部分，请提前15分钟在一楼报告厅候考。面试顺序当天公布。

笔试和面试均需随身携带身份证和一卡通以做身份证明。

由于本学期尚未结束，此次仅为初选，学院将结合累计GPA（一年级学生为1个学期成绩，二年级学生为3个学期成绩）、学术诚信、笔试成绩、面试成绩和语言成绩（一年级学生适用，应于2014年2月28前提交合格语言成绩）确定最终名单，还请各位同学监督并提出建议。选拔名单将于2014年3月8日公布。

请各位同学于寒假期间办好个人护照、银行存款证明等。如个人护照将于2014年过期的，请务必申领新护照。学院在拿到UCD录取通知书后将组织大家办理签证手续。

附1：                                                                  命题作文要求

General Instructions: In a few minutes, you will be asked to write a short essay (200-500 words) in response to a writing prompt that we will provide. You will have 30 minutes to complete this task, and your essay will be graded according to the following criteria:

·           Ideas and Content

·           Sentence Fluency

·           Word Choice

·           Grammar and Mechanics

A Few Tips Before You Begin:

1) Take 3-5 minutes to briefly plan/outline your essay.

2) If you want to change a word that you’ve written, simply cross it out neatly and write the word you’d like to replace it with. You will NOT be graded on neatness, and you will NOT have time to write two drafts of your essay.

3) Take a deep breath and relax. No one expects you to write a “perfect” essay in 30 minutes. Just do your best!
